A drawing done back in 06 of a scenario that I'm sure plenty of people here can relate to. I have a bunch of little nieces and nephews and whenever they come over for a visit they always ask me for piggyback and horseback rides. They love getting them, so I never really put up a fuss about it and once I start they usually keep me going at it for a while. O.O I mean, it can be fun for me too; I get plenty of exercise (beats going to the gym and paying a monthly fee) and it's a great way to break a new pair of denim jeans.  Buuut, after about 30 or so laps around the living room and hallway floors, it can put quite a strain on the lower-back and is complete torture to the knees! :doetwo: Sometimes I think the more painful the game is for the adult the more enjoyable it is for the child. O.OSo, in the spirit of those wonderful/painful memories I came up with this drawing - a pic of an adult wolf giving piggyback rides to a couple of wolf pups. Sitting is never an easy job, and by the looks on these two pups faces, it doesn't look like they will be giving this poor wolf a break any time soon...  Drawn in Painter 9 with wacom tablet. Hrs? Can't recall.  Oh well... Enjoy! |
