Gift art drawn for :iconobsidianwolfess: back in 06. ^^ She liked it, I loved that she liked it, and all was well. :D I think I did a pretty good job on this wolf's fur. But it's the golden eyes and shiny nose that I pride myself in most. ^^

I like all the shiny parts, not just the nose. The claws! Those eyes are beautiful looking out from such dark fur.
I love how dark the fur is, but it's so detailed. But dark enough that a lot of the detail is suggested, you know? It's so prettyyyy. The soft highlights and big paws.

And I suck at fur texture, so I'm totally envious<3
